Industrial Electronics/PLC/DCS Job Summary

Seeking an experienced and results-driven salesperson to join our energetic team. The individual in this role would provide appropriate product solutions for our customers and nurture them through our purchase flow from start to finish. Candidates for this position should prioritize customer care, acquisition, and company profitability.

Sales Duties and Responsibilities

· Generate and qualify leads via phone and email

· Schedule sales appointments and activities

· Promote products/services to new and existing customers

· Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of new and existing customers

· Close sales by means of excellent customer service and salesmanship

· Develop strategies for more effective sales closing, share with team

· Maintain positive business and customer relationships to prolong customer lifetime value

· Prioritize and/or escalate client questions and concerns to increase client satisfaction

· Source and develop client referrals

· Track personal appointments, status reports, and sales

· Use CRM and Quoting Software

· Meet or exceed monthly sales goals

· Continuously improve through feedback

Salesperson Requirements and Qualifications

· Knowledge of DCS and PLC systems

· Knowledge of instrumentation and analyers

· Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written

· Aptitude for negotiation and persuasion

· Highly motivated, determined, and target driven

· Proven track record in the sales environment

· Ability to meet and exceed monthly sales quota

· Ability to create and deliver client presentations

· Expert in time management and personal organization

· Familiarity with BRM and CRM best practices

** Travel a must, have own transportation, will reimburse mileage at IRS Rate

· Bachelor’s degree preferred but may accept relevant experience

Experience:

Industrial Electronic Sales: 3 years (Preferred)
Outside Sales Experience: Minimum 1 year in field
Texas Drivers (Preferred)
English (Required) Spanish helpful
Work authorization: United States (Required)
Background in Process Control/PLC/DCS/Applied Automation/Instrumentation a must.
Security Clearance Required: Confidential (Preferred)
Work Location: On the road
Paid Training: Yes
Autonomous work judgment needed and a must in field

Work Remotely:
Universal Precautions Always
Remote interview process initially
Personal protective equipment provided or required,
Must supply own needed PPE for Client Sites..
ie; boots, hard hat, FRC’s, RX safety glasses, etc

Salary: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour or commensurate with experience

Schedule: 8 hour shift typically M-F
Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay paid as per number of sites maintained and procurred
